Be the Winner over Christian Spiritual Warfare

Christian spiritual warfare is actually one battle you are not expected to win.  You are required to give up; to God that is.  Give your life over to him, no matter where you are in your walk. 

Still doing drugs?  Give it over. Still addicted to porn?  Give it over. Still fighting with your spouse?  Give it over.

Not Convinced?

If Christian spiritual warfare is not real, then why so many scriptures about it?

James 4:7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Submit comes first.  Submission gives you the strength to resist the Devil.  Then, he is required to leave you alone. 

If you fall off the wagon tonight, submit again tomorrow morning.

Remember these words:  Victory comes not with the struggle; but with the surrender.

Why the Battle?

You are personally made up of three components.  1) Flesh, 2) Soul and 3) Spirit.  If you have lived your life according to the flesh, as most of us have, then you are accustomed to letting your physical senses dictate your life.  That has probably had some devastating effects on you and your family.

Watchman Nee, in The Spiritual Man, explains that even our soul becomes physical when we live according to our physical needs.  In many cases, even our worship is physical, not spiritual.

God's chosen method of overcoming this is to feed our spirits with His own spirit.  That is why you will read "Feed the Baby" so much at Spiritual Health Source.  Feed your inner self with God's word.  Let it become a part of your spirit.  Then, let your spirit overcome your physical life.

That will, without a doubt, create a battle.  Your flesh (physical desires) will cry out.  God's son will cry out.  You may hear so many "voices" that you think you are losing your mind.  Not so, my friend.  You are on the right track and this is typical Christian Spiritual Warfare.
