A Deliverance Prayer from Paul
Begin step one with a deliverance prayer. The most powerful prayer we could possibly share with you
is from Paul's letter to the Ephesians. Let this prayer wash
over you as you read, believing that these scriptures will bring you
the power to overcome all obstacles in your life, whether it is
addiction, financial problems, marital battles, oppression or
depression. The power is in KNOWING HIM BETTER and knowing who you
are IN CHRIST. Step One: Take Your Seat In Christ.

Ephesians 1: 6-23
I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you
in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus
Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom
and revelation, so that you may KNOW HIM BETTER.
I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in
order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the
riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his
incomparably great power for us who believe.

That power is like the working of his mighty strength, which
he exerted in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated
him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule
and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be
given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.
And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be
head over everything for the church, which is his body, the
fullness of him who fills everything in every way. (NIV)
The Book of Ephesians tells us everything we need to know about
overcoming spiritual warfare and reaching our highest potential
as Christians.
In chapters 1-3, the phrase "In Christ" is used repeatedly.
The word "In" is a position of rest. Resting In
Christ is the only place where we will begin to see the power
that Paul speaks of in this deliverance prayer. |
