There are many instances where people suffered
from depression in the Bible. The scriptures expressing feelings
of depression and anxiety contain very important Biblical wisdom,
because they help us understand that the disease is not new to
mankind. The only thing new is the means most often used to treat it;
pills. Find a better way to be happy, whole and productive again
by following this Biblical advice.
Recently, CNN announced that in certain clinical studies,
82% of the participants responded the same to placebos as they did to
antidepressants. Their medical advisors prescribed healthier thinking
and exercise! Other studies have produced similar results. This
prescription of healthier thinking, is Biblical and can be obtained by
filling your mind with positive feedback from God.

We are including only a few examples of depression in the Bible, because
our advice is for you to focus on the cure. As you read the
scriptures you will automatically begin to relate to the author's heavy
emotions and tendencies toward social isolation.
Choose, this time, not to dwell on your familiarity with their emotions and focus on their
relationships with God. Even though they had made mistakes (murder and
adultery to name a couple) and were living with the consequences, God
brought them forth from the dense fog of depression and back into strength,
health and productivity. He did the same for me and will do it for you.
Find a better way to deal with your depression in the Bible.
