Jesus and Depression
Jesus and depression came face to face because of our bad choices and the
circumstances we face.
The others mentioned
here, as having depression
in the Bible, suffered because of their own bad choices and the circumstances
they faced.

Mat 26:38 Then He *said to them, "My soul is deeply grieved, to
the point of death; remain here and keep watch with Me."
Luke 22:39-44 Jesus went out as usual to the Mount of Olives, and
his disciples followed
him. On reaching the place, he said to them, "Pray that you will not fall into
temptation." He withdrew about a stone's throw beyond them, knelt down
and prayed, "Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my
will, but yours be done." An angel from heaven appeared to him and
strengthened him. And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his
sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.

Side note: I'm sharing this with you, because I once felt guilty
for my own depression. Then one of my doctors shared this with
me. This made me feel less like a crazy person and more like a
human being. |
"I thought you were going to help me lose the
guilt!"
You bet we are. Remember that Jesus carried it so that we
don't have to. Losing your guilt is actually a requirement. If
you don't believe you are forgiven, you really don't believe in Him.
That means Jesus and depression came face
to face for nothing. Now, are you ready for the healing to begin? Return to
Spiritual Healing.
We must believe that we are forgiven and forgive
ourselves before we can have a direct relationship with God.
