Learn How to Meditate God's Word

learn-how-to-meditate Learn how to meditate easily by simply finding something beautiful to focus on. Forget about yesterday, it is gone.  Don't worry about tomorrow, you can't control it anyway.  Simply find a beautiful focal point and live only that moment for as long as you can.  Your muscles will feel like someone let the air out!

God made this world for us to enjoy.  His glory is all around.  Use it to help take your mind off of yourself for a few minutes every day.

Steve steps outside as often as he can and looks around at our flower garden.  He thinks only about the beauty God gave us in our small courtyard, and how He took the time to paint such detail on the flower petals, and put such beautiful color in the sky.  Steve always comes in smiling!  Yesterday's worries are gone and tomorrow's haven't arrived yet.

Learn how to meditate during the day, and before you fall asleep.  You will wake up more refreshed.

God's Word is  Must

Carry an index card in your pocket with your favorite scriptures written on it.  Take it out and read it over and over.  Pray about it, asking God for the meaning.  Meditate on that scripture, word for word.  You will get revelation, and that is your daily bread.  There's nothing more relaxing than knowing the Almighty God is talking directly to you.  You are in His hands.

If you don't feel like you are worthy for God to talk directly to you, then learn how to meditate on God's opinion of you!

Sound and Music Therapy

If you are having trouble with your thought life, lean how to meditate with some beautiful praise and worship music playing in the background.  I highly recommend using some sound and music therapy with Terry McAlmon.
