Ephesians, Chapter 6 - Biblical Wisdom to Stand On!
With these scriptures, you can live free. Your anger

The key words in the following passage are "finally" and
"in the Lord." This is step three. You cannot skip steps one
and two and move on the power and glory that belong to Christ.
You must first, rest in Him and allow Him to do the walking.
Then, stand the ground that He won for you almost 2000 years ago.

Eph 6:10 - 18 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the
strength of His might. |
YOU'VE GOT THE POWER! |
Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand
firm against the schemes of the devil
|
The Full armor will cover your entire
being; front to back, top to bottom! |
|
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against
the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this
darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the
heavenly places.
|
Keep your
seat, next to Christ: Far above all principality, and power, and dominion,
and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also
in that which is to come.
|
Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be
able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to
stand firm.
|
Having done everything: Allow the cross to work in your life.
Take your seat, walk the walk, which is Him walking in you.
|
|
Stand firm therefore, HAVING GIRDED YOUR LOINS WITH TRUTH,
|
The loins represent your emotions. If we live by our emotions, particularly fear, then we are set
up to receive a deadly blow from the world around us or from the
enemy. When someone frightens me, I need only live by the
truth from God's word, not my emotions. |
|
and HAVING PUT ON THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS,
|
Satan wants us to feel unrighteous and unworthy so that our
hearts harden toward God. Knowing we already have
righteousness IN CHRIST, without earning it, enables us to maintain a confident
relationship, face to face with God. When I mess up, I
need not hide! |
and having shod YOUR FEET WITH THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF
PEACE;
|
If I don't have a relationship with God, I cannot stand up. I
have no foundation. Maintain the foundation of a relationship
with God. It is there for the taking. When someone pushes me,
I need not fall and I need not sink back into the quicksand of
the world. |
in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you
will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil
one.

Don't allow one "arrow" of doubt to hit
you. Keep your heart shielded with the knowledge that you
are IN CHRIST, a dearly loved child of God.
When under attack, I need not falter. No
Weapons formed against me shall prosper!

|
And take THE HELMET OF SALVATION, and the sword of the
Spirit, which is the word of God.
|
Everything we see and hear feeds a message
into our minds and hearts. Guard your mind and your heart
with God's word; his message of salvation. Keep out the
world's nasty message, which is the equivalent to brain damage!
When someone insults me, I don't have to believe it. I am
who He says I am... |

With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit,
and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and
petition for all the saints, |
Be filled with God's word and His spirit. Pray earnestly
in true belief. Ask and you shall receive, seek and you
shall find, knock and the door will be opened unto you. |
