Self Improvement Advice from the Wonderful Counselor

Self improvement advice comes from many sources.  We choose to get ours directly from The Wonderful Counselor, Jesus Christ.  Jesus came to the earth for this very reason: to help those who need it.  He did not come to condemn us and point out our weaknesses.  He came first and foremost, to redeem us in the eyes of God, and redeemed, we are!

With that being done, the best self improvement advice we can give you is:

  • Stop picking on yourself.  Lose the negative self talk and retrain your brain.
  • No matter what your circumstances are, or what you may have done in your past, allow yourself to be happy!  Allow yourself?  Yes, you can choose to be happy.
  • Live forgiven and forgive yourself.  Stop trying to earn redemption and rest.

At Spiritual Health Source, we will learn to bridge the gap between us and that healthy, spiritual life that means a healthy physical life as well.  We will bridge the gap, by coming to the realization that it has already been bridged.

Luke 4:18-19 "THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS UPON ME, BECAUSE HE ANOINTED ME TO PREACH THE GOSPEL TO THE POOR. HE HAS SENT ME TO PROCLAIM RELEASE TO THE CAPTIVES, AND RECOVERY OF SIGHT TO THE BLIND, TO SET FREE THOSE WHO ARE OPPRESSED. TO PROCLAIM THE FAVORABLE YEAR OF THE LORD."  (NASB) Jesus announces the reason for His life on earth.  We must get to know the truth about Him, from Him and allow this freedom from oppression to happen in our lives.

Where do I start?

Your faith in God and belief in Jesus Christ hold the key.  Make a choice to believe that the self improvement you need is already done and begin to THINK DIFFERENTLY!
